Changeling National Diary - Part 2

Woke up a little too late but didn't have to worry about breakfast as it was only cereals and toast. Gave
nocturnia a jar of Nutella which seemed to make her happy. Ah, the simple things ;o).
The Freehold was invaded by a group of animal people who attacked without asking. Sam was in front but quickly retreated when the first strike did agg damage. Art support from behind the lines is much easier and less dangerous ;o). The things were driven away or killed and Sam healed himself and others.
I really must think of more Heather Balm bunks. Thankfully, the next victims were horses so I could use a different approach.
Prepared lunch (sandwiches and salads) with the rest of the Bogganarmi (Edd, Kat, Robin, Doug), played some IC games and then started on the banquet.
The cooking was done in two kitchens as there was so much. Most of it was easily prepared beforehand, the beef had only to be seasoned and put in the oven (sadly, I misjudged the time and it was done too early and needed to be kept warm so the meat was well done and not pink in the middle anymore). The turkey and veggie option were done by Edd and Doug in the other kitchen, much kudos to them.
Entered the Chef of Albion competition with Kaiserschmarrn (Austrian dish, literal translation "The Emperor's Scramble", a fluffy, broken up pancake). I had an ideal whisk/bowl combination so the meringue was perfect and passed the turning-over-the-bowl-test *grin*.
However, the "Panel of Expert Boggan Chefs" (i.e. the ST team) judged Fox's strawberry milkshake to be worthy of the title and it was indeed yummy, you could taste the fresh strawberries that went in there.
Handed the kitchen over to the washer-upper-brigade and went back to rp a bit.
Khan (sp?) was to be tried for various crimes which was quite interesting to watch and was good for some unexpected revelations.
After time-out just wound down, chatted and relaxed.
