Seated somewhere but it's a ticket. Woohoo!!!
Frantically refreshing the Seeticket page finally got me through after a minute (ticketmaster had none available after the first page). Standing tickets had all gone already (within a minute).
Phew and Yay!

Seetickets seem to have got a more-or-less working system where they rate-limit the number of people who can get to the page to buy the tickets, but once you're there it's all quite fast. sweet_lil_sis asked me to help her get Foo Fighters tickets, which also went on presale at 9am, and I managed four singles for four separate gigs in about ten minutes (and some of that was on the phone to her finding out which other shows she wanted bar the two she'd originally asked for)

Compared to Ticketb*stard, anyone's fees are reasonable -- though in this case, the presale was only through one specified agency for each venue so she had no choice in the matter.

Congratulations! It used to be people would have to queue days in advance to get tickest. Now they need a fast connection and quick fingers.

We live about a mile from the dome you would be able to park near ours and catch a bus up if you want to avoid parking costs

Ooh, I might come back to that offer.
Driving down in rush hour will be a pain, but driving back should be OKish (being full of adrenaline will mean not falling asleep). Taking the train would be more sensible but there's the danger of not making the last one.

I'll decide what to do closer to the time (19th of December).
