Wiesenfest Day 2

After early lunch, I wandered into town to find a good spot for taking photos of the parade. While I was waiting, I ran into an old schoolmate (who has been married for 12 years and has two daughters) who was waiting for his oldest daughter in the parade, so we could kill some time catching up. The parade was quite good with a lot of historical ideas/costumes so there was a bit of a coherent theme (200 years of the town festival). Managed to get some good shots although the direct sunlight wasn't ideal. Photos are uploading to flickr as I write this and are online now.
After the parade I followed the masses to the festival park and took a few shots of the games and wandered around a bit.
On my way home, I ran into my old mate Stefan who also has a family incl. a one and half year old son. He was visiting his parents and walking home so I joined them for a while and we caught up on things. Was nice. Too bad he doesn't write as often as I'd like.
At home, I had the last strawberries of the season (rather early this year, they're usually ripening now but the whole weather situation was really screwed this year) and worked on the photos of the day.
Was feeling tired and as I hadn't agreed to meet up with anyone, I stayed at home.
