GNI test

Slept throughout the day until about 6, then got up and attacked some Antarctica photos.  I hope that another 8 hours of sleep will put me right enough that I can go to work and, consequently, to FFW but I'd have to be really fit for that as I don't want to be a burden on anyone and a sniffling/sneezing/coughing karohemd would be.

This icon was inspired by sogoth's "Sadness is a cold monkey" icon but I think the text needs to be stronger. Any good tips for accomplishing that?
I don't want to make the photo any smaller so you can still see the seal properly. I might try overlaying the text...

ETA: with "stronger" I actually meant "more visible or legible" Is it legible enough at the moment?

Well I think the text is fairly visible and legible as is, but yeah, you might try doing away with the white border and juts have the text overlaying the photo and see how that looks.

I assume you mean black border? I had only white text at first but that wasn't visible enough so I added the border. I don't seem to find an option that makes a differently coloured contour around the letters which might work.

The text might possibly benefit from having smoothing/anti-aliasing turned off, when it's that small. Might be worth a try.
