Mr Lee's Cat Cam
This guy put a digicam around his cat's neck and let it roam. The camera takes a photo evey now and then and so records the cat's whereabouts.

Making one yourself looks a bit complicated (unless you're comfortable with taking apart and modifying electronic gubbins) but if he could patent and market it, he might have something on his hands...

That is very awesome. The electronics aren't too messy. Maybe an excuse to get a microprocessor controller for my PC at last...
