I'm always bad at these things so forgive me if I don't come up with full lists

[livejournal.com profile] snapesbabe gave me photographers

The thing is, I don't really look at specific photographers' work for inspiration, it's more the style of individual photos.

1. Helmut Newton
2. Jim McQuire (randomly discovered this week) Awesome portraits of Nashville legends.
3. [livejournal.com profile] kneeshooter's gig photography

[livejournal.com profile] pmoodie gave me Films That Are So Bad They're Good!

1. Bad Taste
2. Braindead
3. Plan 9 from Outer Space
4. Johnny Mnemonic (unlike everyone else, it seems, I really like this film, most likely because it came out during the time I played loads of Shadowrun and many of the characters - Ice T's street shaman, Henry Rollins' street doc - were just spot on. Keanu Revves' acting sucks but I can live with that.
5. I'm sure there are many many more but I can't think of any atm

[livejournal.com profile] eddyfate gave me Things That You Wish You Could Take Pictures Of

I'm interpreting this a bit wider as most of the places I'd like to photograph are still there, I just need to get to them and that's only a matter of time.

1. The orginal Woodstock festival, both bands and candid shots of the audience
2. Dita von Teese
3. the World Trade Center
4. a Springsteen gig
5. my hometown before the 1856 fire that left one church and one house (allegedly protected by gypsy magic) standing and generally various places and cities throughout the centuries.
A time machine that makes one invisible (and immune to disease) would be awesome. Travel to places in the past and take modern, high quality photos to show what things and people really looked like rather than being artists' impressions.
