Not the best (it's a very tight crop from a compact) but it shows me in wildlife photographer mode. Just above the lens hood you can see a couple of Magellanic penguins in the background.

Ozy in his natural habitat. Looks painful on the nose. ;)

*Ozzy. Sorry. I'm used to writing about Ozy and Millie.

I wish. Patagonia would be a very nice place to live for me, climate wise. Mild summers, not too wet winters and lots of scenery and wildlife to photograph.
*laughs* It's always in the way but thankfully quite squishy.
I don't know why but I kept pressing a button with my nose today, very annoying.

Nifty.
I was reading a review of a tripod, and the second picture down made me think of you. Its a very impressive shot:

Wow, he's really close. We usually weren't allowed to get that close to a colony, except at Port Lockroy where the gentoos breed on the doorstep, sometimes literally. When I've grown up (and have won the lottery), I want to go on one of those photo expeditions.
This was most likely on South Georgia, as there are no Kings on the peninsula. Their breeding habits are also different from the brushtail penguins' as Kings don't build nests so there are a lot more of them closer together.

Smile!

70-200mm f2.8 and a x2 converter. The lens hood adds another 8cm or so so it looks a lot longer than it is. ;o)
