Just read in German news that they found violent and war games (PC and console) at the shooter's flat and apparently the Bundesrat (German upper house) has filed a bill to ban all "killer games".
As if games have anything to do with violence.
I quite happily maim and gun down hordes of people in UT or similar but that doesn't mean I do the same in real life. I'm quite possibly one of the least violent (physically at least) people...
Of course, it can influence mentally unstable people (which this killer quite obviously was) but the same applies to everything else: films, TV, etc.
