It was a jolly good con with loads of different games on offer. I regret that I didn't get photos of Gamers' Wives II (the freeform run by the Dempseys), a good shot of the Collective Endeavour stall (that corner was always rather busy) and obviously the auction (because I left early to get to the gig). Captions to follow.

I played WFRP in the morning and oWoD upstairs in the afternoon. Wandered about for an hour or so between games, didn't see you! :( Did see lots of people I recognised though! Which I was not epxecting, perhaps I am a bigger geek than I anticipated :P

Ah, I see. I tend to stay away from well established games at cons, I'm there to look at the new stuff.

I did pick up lots of leaflets about new stuff. A funky looking Corporations based future dystopia game and whatnot. I had never been to a con of this type before i was quite shell-shocked, glad they had beer! :P

Nice ones - if it matters, in the one of me I'm running my Flatland RPG

I thought so but wasn't sure. Thanks!
I'll add it when I do the captions tonight.

What is the large scale settlers of catan game? It looks intirguing

It is literally just a large scale game with the normal rules. Instead of painted cardboard tiles and little wooden blocks you have proper 3D model landscapes and carved figures.
It's been one of the main attractions of Dragonmeet for the last two or three years.

I don't know, I find this (http://hooktail.livejournal.com/171446.html) a whole lot scarier.

Thus growled Zarathustra.

I guess Nietzsche will be blamed for this as well.

No photo of the Gamers stall?

Gah! What do I pay you for? :-p

Sorry! I was mostly aiming for specific than generic stalls, though.
Unlike [livejournal.com profile] angusabranson, you haven't paid me, so you don't get a photo. ;oÞ
