The concept art for the animated Dragonlance film really isn't inspiring. Usually, the concept art is much shinier than the finished product but this looks like it's from the orignal D&D cartoon:

ION: My favourite barber's just raised the price for a clipper haircut by 100% (from a fiver to a tenner). Bastard. It had been to good to be true, anyway. Still cheaper than anywhere else, though and at five mins walk from work I'm not complaining too much.

...know what you mean. Its hard to find a good barber these days. I've taken to using the local Pakistani barbershop, as we discuss methods by which to keep wives obedient [the first time I went in, they saw me telling my wife to go home, and her immediate obedience to that] , and I get my haircut for 6 Euro.

Standard pricing on the wall sign says 12 :)

Given the prior D&D film and the presence of Kender I have no hope for this film whatsoever.

Films, even. I think I need to bring the second one to a silly film night one day. It's not a good film by any means but it's not appalingly bad and with a higher budget and better actors it could have been even reasonable. It's a bit like Underworld, really, but instead of set in the WoD it's set in the DnD world with DnD characters. They even had game stats for the main cast (all 7th Level). :o)

So if we get you, belak_krin and nekofairy666 for the concept art plus motodraconis for the CGI and claymation together, and hire suzerain as art director, we would be able to produce a better film.
simonsatori can write the script and I have a very similar camera to the one they shot Corpse Bride with, so let's get cracking. ;o)

It's not that it's schoolboy bad, it's just utterly utterly boring without any character whatsoever.

Sturm: Haven't really looked at it that way. It looks like the torso armour is one piece around the body which would indeed make it unwearable. Then again, Sturm was born wearing armour so that would explain it. ;oÞ

Yeah, that rat is a bit uninspired, but it looks like an early, uncoloured draft. It'll probably look beter once it's coloured in.

Is it the same people who did that animated Conan film, Red Nails? Looks like the same style.

As for haircuts - Small world! I got mine cut today too, but I'm happy to report mine still charge £6. Although I didn't get the young lass who fondles my head, so I'm a bit sad about that. :(

I tend to get my hair cut in London these days - I'm there anyway, most weekends, and it only costs £6...
