Another set finished. I seem to have kicked my habit of being utterly useless in the evenings and am working my way through my backlog at a reasonable pace.
Have already finished one folder of the shoot with becky_spence/purpleheather which means I should be able to get through that by the end of the week. After that it's Northern Babes, deborah_c/the_lady_lily and finally nekofairy666/raggedy_man/robinbloke/the_mendicant and I'll be done. Even with _ebb_ (and possibly Black Celebration) coming up in early Nov, I should have the backlog cleared  before Antarctica.

Taken in wildrogue's lounge and  in and around the Abbey ruins in Reading.

Ignoring the general "blue-eyed red-heads being quite photogenic" thing (apparently my father used to have a similar thought. Genetics can be odd...), I'm particularly impressed with the composition on the one sitting with the shadow projected behind, and on the abstracty one with the blue posts. Some very interesting use of depth, lighting and texture.

Thanks! The ones with the extreme shadows was just a result of playing around but it worked quite well. Shame there wasn't enough clear wall, though (and my photoshop skills aren't up to removing the doors and other distracting bits).

The weird sculpture was the perfect backdrop because it contrasted well with her hair and skin tone.

The whole shadow thing felt quite claustrophobic. Back, clear/more wall, and I am sure you would have lost much of the texture. The doors add to the framing, but the only odd bit is the cable.
