1. WHAT'S THE STORY BEHIND YOUR LJ USERNAME?

CB for Cambridge, Vamp for Vampire, ST for storyteller. When I started LJ, most people were doing it for Cam stuff so I thought it would be an idea to tell people what I'm up to. It very quickly turned into an unofficial and private stuff one, though.

in no particular order

a) a juicy steak with pepper or blue cheese cream

Out of the country of my birth: 6 years and 3 months (ongoing). Longest holiday: 4 and a bit weeks (Iceland).

6. ONE THING YOU'RE GRATEFUL FOR, TODAY.

My parents and their help in getting me started in life.

7. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE HIGH SCHOOL MEMORY?

No high schools in Germany. I guess it was drinking friendship with our Maths teacher after 10th grade, which pissed off most of the other teachers.

9. DESCRIBE YOUR DREAM WEDDING.

Sorry, I'm not the wedding type.

Hopefully not have to work anymore, be in good health and financial security, with a loving family and finally the time to travel the world properly.

My dad cutting up the trunk of the chestnut tree in front of the house with a chainsaw the blade of which was longer than I was tall (I was 4).

Strange question: To do all the things I wanted to do, probably about 40 K, to keep to the basics, maybe 10K. I'm doing fine on my current salary.

Depends on what you class as weird. Among Cammies, none to speak of, among my colleagues, many (like being a Cammie)

Eeeek, Disney songs!

26. DESCRIBE YOUR DREAM HOUSE.

There are two:
- The first one is a hyper modern, wood-and-glass, energy efficient house with lots of windows, ideally by the sea, overlooking a cliff with a huge bay window in the living room (a bit like Knox's in Charlie's Angels), with a huge leather sofa/armchair/recliner area, bar, home cinema, multi-room state-of-the-art stereo system, large kitchen with top notch appliances and utensils with adjacent dining room, large bedroom with huge bed, a computer room with at least 5 PCs for LAN parties with at least 512K cable, network sockets in all rooms for laptop access, bathroom with shower, hot tub, jacuzzi and the works, a couple of spare bedrooms for entertaining guests, furniture and decor would be modern but simplisitic, a pool in the garden and one in the basement for winter, I think you get the idea.

-The second would be a converted castle in its own grounds somewhere in the west of Ireland, refurbished to the highest extent possible (i.e. fake old-style windows, all rooms properly insulated, modern piping/electricty etc.) but keeping to antique style. Have one part for living and the other for parties/roleplay events.

Ideally, I would have several. One house in/near Cambridge, one somewhere in Scotland, a big flat in London, a penthouse in Nuremberg, the castle in Ireland and a winter residence in the Hollywood Hills *grin*

No piercings or tattoos. Thing worn: The Jimi Hendrix outfit for a fancy dress party (no afro wig needed ;o).

Don't have one.

Actually doing a degree and finding a job.

No proms in Germany and I don't ballroom dance. I tried but I stamped on too many feet.

Most of them were rather quiet. One of the fondest was my 18th, when my parents treated me to a really expensive restaurant dinner.

Seeing that they're having fun

The above houses, an Audi TT, and a round trip through the USA, put the remaining money in the bank and live an easy life with regular travels around the world. Heh.
