Argh, everyone's related. Justin and Iris are Belyakov's offspring and Sofie's the outcome of Justin raping her mother.

Justin has now murdered Scudder and received the Prophet's boon (whatever that means but I guess it's the opposite of Ben receiving the one from Belyakov).

It's only two episodes to go and Ben has arrived at his nemesis' temple so I guess the climax will be the confrontation between the two which might be the end - or the beginning of something completely different because it was meant to continue after Season 2.

I reckon both Ben and Justin are just pawns/avatars in some bigger game (all these prophecies and manuscripts that Wilfred is muttering about hint at that) but what is that game and who are the forces represented by the Prince and the Prophet at the current level?
We will probably never know, unless they really do make a film. It doesn't sound like your standard Apocalypse, Good vs. Evil, the sides are far too skewed for that.
But now, to bed!
