The few people who were at the cinema (no more than 10 apart from [livejournal.com profile] whiskeylover and me) did laugh.

There weren't many other than my group when I went, but they were all laughing as loud and often as we were. :)

People who don't laugh at all at a Kevin Smith film, just don't understand, or ar total prudes, possibly both. ;)

I'm usually not too impressed with purile humour anymore but here, I couldn't help myself.

We already giggled when the disclaimer "The following trailers are appropriate for the audience of the main feature" (or similar) came on.

Oh I agree. Purile is only funny if it's clever too. Kevin Smith is a very clever writer, his satirical take on the world (and the way he portrays this world view) is unique and I love it. :)

Just look at Dogma. A work of genius, yet full of purile humour! ;)

Dogma is the one Kevin Smith film I really could not stand- apart from the genius moment of Buddy Jesus, I thought the whole film was flat, dull and crappy- and not even funny.

*smile* Fair enough.

I completely disagree of course, but that doesn't make either of us wrong or right. ;)

This one also hasn't made it into German cinema yet. Or is this another one that I have to see in English?

It just opened last week and yes, you should see it in English as I have no idea how some of the lines are supposed to work in any other language...
