karohemd | Carnivale Season Two

I'm up to after the first 10 minutes of "Outskirts of Damascus, NE" (I wanted to stop after Damascus but I had to know how the cliffhanger ended) now.
The revelations are actually coming harder and faster than I imagined (identity of management and the connection between him, the Scudders and Brother Justin) but obviously new questions spring up.

You know, compared to the freaks Boliakov(?) and Scudder, the carnies seem like perfectly normal people...

One of the freakiest things currently is most certainly the death mask guy.

The production values and photography continue to be outstanding, like the bit with Sophie watching the Carnivale roll out.
Mentioning Sophie, I still wouldn't say no. ;o)
