I'm a few minutes into the remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre which is set in August 73 and they're playing Sweet Home Alabama (which was released a year later) on the car stereo.

My brother does exactly the same thing, but his area of expertise is guns (so "they are using AK47s in 1945 ... don't they know what the 47 stands for?" etc.)

I still preffer the original, it feels cheesier.
