Jump Bump and Boogie!!
23 Mar 2002 11:55 pmJust got back from the Boat Race.
Great gig with a cool mix of classic R&B, Soul, Funk and Blues and some of their own original songs. There was a funny Ska version of Tom Jones' It's not unusual as well. In short, two hours of great fun for a fiver.
The only sad thing is that I was among the youngest people in the audience, usually I'm among the oldest. It's a shame that this kind of music isn't appreciated by more young people...
Mad Dick was there, obviously, dancing away like there's no tomorrow. This guy is 63, the same age as my dad but three times as cool. A bit mad and strange but cool. Must remember to buy him a pint next time.
OK, Pi now on Channel 4
