Unexpected fireworks

karohemdWent with Craig to Vicky's birthday party last night. Was a nice little and mostly quiet affair, except for the fireworks, *grin*. Tim, Helen and Claire were mostly cowards and hid inside while Tim, Stuart (sp?), Craig and myself were burning fireworks. Very unusual for me as the only time you're allowed to burn them in Germany is on New Year's Eve. For the amazing battery thing we went out to a field. Very good effects, and the bangs reveberated all around us. At least it was only 11 and the cops didn't turn up *grin*.
We went back to give Vicky her cake, had coffee and then watched House on Haunted Hill. I hadn't seen it before and it was quite good.
After the film, the party dispersed and we went home again, having a rather obscure conversation of how to make the film into a Changeling scenario...
Sulked around a bit before going to bed far too late and got up at half three, feeling nicely refreshed.
Tonight, I'll be going to the Boat Race for a Jump, Bump and Boogie gig, should be good. Watch Pi afterwards and then go to bed to have loads of time for house/Cam work tomorrow.
