A couple of years ago there was a bottle of pepperami vodka doing the rounds from party to party, the original manufacture of which had been my fault.

I'm currently preparing crispy bacon vodka in anticipation of [livejournal.com profile] frandowdsofa's Hogswatch celebrations.

I do have a vodka cookbook I need to try some of the things out of sometime.

I haven't actually cooked with vodka yet but I'd be happy to assist. :o)
It definitely works well with fruit and I'd be interested what savoury dishes would be like.

Well, think bloody Mary as a pasta sauce- take tomato juice/passata, horseradish, vodka, pepper, worcester sauce, salt, tabasco, vodka and sherry, reduce a little and pour over Spaghetti or other applicable pasta. So you're only missing the lemon, celery and ice for a proper bloody Mary, and it should be a bit thicker & warm.

A Bullshot also works wonders for a hangover- take a cup of good quality, hot bouillon (although at a stretch OXO will do) and add a generous slug of vodka.
