Wow!

I LOVE "closet"!

It's such a wonderful idea.
Can you imagine doing it, though. A wrong or slightly too long cut and you need to start all over again...

There'd have to be meticulous planning...

And some serious dexterity and coordination without getting cramps in your hand or fingers.

I dunno, knife rather than scissors, and lots of breaks would be fine for that.

That would probably be considered cheating in the papercutting scene. Isn't it supposed to be one continuous cut with a pair of scissors?

I dunno... I can't see him having done the river one in one cut.

That is pretty amazing. But he uses glue, surely that's cheating ;-)

Only for the ones that are actually built up.

That's not extreme. For my maths GCSE I made a scale model of a B17 from the real technical drawings... out of paper. I've also made an owl, pigeon (imagine the curves) and lots of other various things... all out of paper. I wish I'd had a camera back then :-(

I think dad's still got one of the models, Will have to ask him to take a pic.

I'd love to see that!

I think the difference here is that he's using the papercut method, i.e. it's one continuous cut, not several pieces of paper glued together.

Fair enough, tho I don't see how it could be with the cone and circle of that castle. Certainly doesn't look like it in the picture.

I cannot begin to tell you how many of my buttons that pushes without sounding like I should be locked up for being at the very least OCD.

I feel a trip to the exhibtion in London in November coming on.
