Oooohh, windy

there's a fantastic breeze outside and the sky looks really ominous. Could this really be the promised rain?
*prepares to run outside*

ETA: Come on, was that all? More! More, dammit!
It was just enough to get my washing on the line wet again. Grrrrr.

I've had a few drops fall on me just a few minutes ago. Hopefully there'll be a downpour soon!

We had a beauty about 4pm in Ely. After the mornings mini storm and rain, the sun came out and it was hidiously hot again so I too put the washing out and went to the farmers market.
Got back just in time for the black clouds and the first drops of rain. I managed to rescue the washing, leaving the pegs strewn on the grass with just a few drops.
Within minutes there was 2 inches of enormous puddle in front of the back door, the rubbish sack just put out started to float, along with the mat and two house plants I'd put out just to let them get a bit of rain.
It was definatly more spectacular than the first!
I did enjoy paddling ankle deep!
