Good news, everyone!

My camera works again!
I took it out last night, inserted the battery - still Err displayed - but this time I couild release the shutter and after that it was fine! The error message went away, too.
I guess the poor thing was just a bit overwhelmed by all those beautiful women and I did take a lot of shots...

Phew.

*nods* you wouldn't want your equiment failing on you halfway through a session. Whilst they might be understanding about it it would still be some what embarassing and you'd then just have to sit around drinking tea.

It's still displaying an error msg, but will operate now? Were you charging the battery in between or anything? Doesn't sound good at all...

Quite a few things usually work after switching on and off again. This took a while longer.
I'm going to take a comprehensive test on the weekend, just to make sure.

I've logged it with Nikon support, anyway, just waiting for them to get back to me.
