Something I thought of on my way home last night.
Let's say you had the opportunity to travel in time (and reality) and visit a Star Trek doctor to sort out all your medical problems (and cosmetic surgery, too), which one would you visit?

Bashir to treat me, but the lovely Dr. Phlox for bedside manner!

I thought his "natural remedies" would suit a hippy like you. :o)

Only one of those is a genetically enhanced super-genius. And maybe I could meet Ezri while seeing him.

Two very good reasons. :o)
I'm still dithering between Crusher and Bashir...

One of those is related to Wesley Crusher... go with Bashir.

true, but Bashir has several more generations of expertise and medical discovery, so should be able to cure me better. I'm a scientist too, and want things to work!

For a beer and giggles it'd be Bones, but for actual medical treatment? The EMH every time.

Heh.
Heh, for a moment I thought Bones is holding a small crucifix, not a hypospray.

Randomly, ages ago I had "Dammit, I'm a translator, not a botanist" as my screen saver at work when we were translating a gardening database.

Not to mention being genetically enhanced. His hand-eye-coordination is probably close to that of the EMH.

You could travel in time to just before his conception, and 'accidentally' slip a contraceptive pill into a drink of hers!

Alternatively... Wesley, I am your father!

Crusher all the way. Delicious red head, excellent doctor, and does not want make we want to kill her instantly. Unlike both Pulaski and Bashir.

The emh would make me giggle too much, phlox...just go away you nasty Enterprise thing you.

Bones is too old school for me.

Exactly my thinking. As long as she isn't shagging some ancient family spirit, that is. ;o)

The Doctor - not much of a bedside manner but I think he seems to have the best recovery rate.

I like the EMH's bedside manner. And his quotes:

"Sticks and stones won't break my bones,
So you can imagine how I feel about insults."
