A "Licensed Adult Store" just opened on Newmarket Rd (just off the roundabout, two doors down from the Rose and Crown).
Yum Yum's, the best sandwich shop in the area, will be pleased...

As someone who lives not more than a stones throw from a 'Licensed Adult Shop' or two - they really _aren't_ a problem. I'd be more worried if a pub opened nearby.

I lived in three different houses in Reading.

Each time I managed to live just down the road from one of the three adult shops (not counting Anne Summers whch is a glorified underwear shop).

Does that say something about me?

It's only glorified downstairs. Upstairs it's just better lit than than your average 'Private' Shop. Um. I would imagine.
