I'm currently going through the photos taken at ARA, when in (taken from the Belfry) I noticed what looked like Radiation Hazard symbols in the stained glass windows (behind the dancefloor).
I then looked at a and then realised that it's   with three triangles (what are they supposed to be?) but their shape an alignment from far away looked indeed just like the radiation hazard symbol.
How cool is that?

Guess what - I shall be in Cambridge tomorrow and might am staying definately until Sunday! My friend is getting married and holding the reception at the Cambridge Belfry. Afterwards I'm heading over to [livejournal.com profile] robinbloke's so maybe we could meet up sometime?

Argh, I'm really busy this weekend.
What time are you going to be at Robin's on Saturday?
I really need the Sunday to do Octaine stuff but it would be good to see you again...

Sounds good. I have stuff I need to cook in the fridge so I could pop over to Bar Hill after dinner.

It's very cool and does look like the radiation trefoil. I'm not sure what they are. I first thought they may be bee-hives but they appear too pointy. However, that could be a bee at top right. I would guess that they are part of a merchant's crest because the beehive was a device used to represent industry. They were also sometimes used on monastic arms

At first glance I would say that they look like sacks. Full of something like grain, tied at the top and resting on the floor. Maybe it is the coat of arms of a big landowner? If you find out whose coat of arms it is, research would be pretty easy then.

That's a possibility.
I'll ask the people who run ARA (and whose parish this is).
