1. bruce springsteen:
   The first album I ever bought was "Born in the U.S.A" (yes, I was a slow starter but I made up later) and quickly bought up all of the back catalogue. He is and will remain my favourite artist.
2. corvus corax:
   The band who are basically responsible for the medieval boom in Germany (to be later joined by In Extremo and Subway to Sally). They started out playing medieval markets and reenactment events in the late 80s and early 90s and are now far too far up their own arses to be any good anymore. Give me Cultus Ferox or Potentia Animi any day.
3. djing:
   I blame raggedy_man for this one. He persuaded me to set up Club Octaine with him and it all went from there.
4. garlic:
   Probably unsurprising for most of my friends, I really like garlic.
5. internet:
   Well, without the internet I would probably read a good book and not waste my time doing this silly quiz.
6. lrp:
   or Live Roleplay. One of the many activities I get up to in my spare time. Usually non-contact, though.
7. offering chocolate to chocaholics:
   One of my missions in life. ;o)
8. roleplaying:
   A generalised version of No. 6. I don't play as much as I used to (too many other things to do) but still enjoy it whenever I can.
9. steve earle:
   Another favourite artist. Started out in the mid-80s as one of the young, "rebel" Country acts, had a bit of a dip with the success getting over his head, ended up in jail as a drug-addict, recovered, cleaned up and has been a very politcally active Americana singer/songwriter for the last ten years or so.
10. trauma pet:
    aka _traumapet_, a brilliant electronica band from Southampton who are in the process of working on their first album. Go and see them if they're playing near you.
