After another 20 hours of sleep with very little to eat over the last two days, my stomach and bowels seem to have normalized themselves...
- IC items at the Charity Auction.
That's just so wrong, IMHO. It's grossly unfair towards players on a budget (and most Cammies are). Paying OOC money to buy something you should gain through roleplay and IC actions is something I simply can't accept. It's Cheese to its highest degree. Imagine an IC conversation: "Hey, where did you learn that from?" - "They just taught me". No way...
There was something else I thought of while still in bed and now it's gone. Argh

Anyway, if it helps. No IC items will be for auction for SERE events while I am RST, and CAN stop it. Just does not seem right, and those that have less money get the "shaft" if you will.

OOC Cash = IC Benefit?
Baring membership to a society, but thats 1 fixed cost for everyone, once a year.
I remember a full contact larp system that I encountered at Gencon around 5 or so years ago, their generation system was based entirely on how much cash you paid for your character, something roughly like 5 pounds got you 10 character points - or something. The thing was it was a limited maximums system and 50 quid got you everything you could ever buy. So you could start maxxed out, utter lunacy baseing it on money paid...

Then again comes the whole new thing of, some get stuff like that without roleplay....cause their friends PC just teaches them for no rhyme or reason *sigh*
