The night's been far too short and the day too long but it was fun.
gbsteve ran Dogs in the Vineyard and it is indeed a very interesting game, with a very open system and an ingenious use of dice (although it is the game tha probably uses the largest number of dice I know).
My Midway City game was a bit chaotic but still fun. It might have been a good idea to restrict the number of players to four (which I'm doing for tomorrow but have only one sign-up so far). The general response to the game was a good one, though, at least regarding the setting.
Hadn't signed up for any games in the evening so listened to Allen Varney's talk, watched the quiz which was very amusing and sat through the auction. I originally didn't want to buy anything due to my lack of storage space but got Witchcraft with a supplement, Paranoia 2nd ed, and the London sourcebook for Kult, for £15 total.
The amount of superb stuff that went for ridiculously little money was amazing (e.g. Bushido for 13 quid, IIRC). At Dragonmeet, these would have fetched three to five times or more, easily.
Before going home, I played some Guillotine and then Mike's pr0n version of Once Upon a Time...
