I'll post more of what it's about as more photos come in.
It's not just a funfair but a traditional festival as well where the school children play odd games and take part in a huge procession through town.
It'll be a lot easier to explain with pictures so I'm waiting until those are up Sunday night.

Basically, Friday and Saturday night is funfair, the official program starts on Sunday and is repeated on Monday (which is a public holiday in my hometown) with the funfair running from about 2pm to midnight each day.
