After a hard Tai Chi session (Go Back to Ward Off Monkey many many times), I stopped off at home to get changed and pick up my kit, only to discover that my spare battery was flat and the battery in the camera wasn't fully charged. Argh moment but it turned out OK in the end.

Then off to the MotM to see

lark_ascending's band Hibachi Dealers play. When I got there, a duo played some rather cool indie rock and HD took the stage a bit after 10. I really like their music, nice and varied and

lark_ascending's vocals fit in nicely.
The lights were mainly red again so some shots didn't come out but using the flashgun to fill in worked quite well in some shots. Will need some tinkering to find the ideal setting, though. Anyway, more on that in a tech post sometime later.
