karohemdJust picked up some books at Tesco's on Friday and started reading the Philosopher's Stone. Wow, this really is good stuff. I would have loved reading this as a kid and I love it even now. It's far from being just a kids' book, this is good stuff.
I'm sad enough to immediately make connections to Changeling: there's this little boy, his Chrysalis being prevented by the utter banality of his foster parents, until a troll comes along to rescue him...
Oh, and the picture on the cover looks even more like Jason ;o)
