karohemdFinally had some time and played last night - too long again, finally put the controller down at 5 in the morning. First, you have to continue until the next safe point and then it was so compelling that I simply had to know how it continued.
Scariest scene: Upstairs in Ipsen's Castle, opposite the lift to the mirror room, random monster encounter: THREE, count them, _three_ (3) BLOODY Tonberries (little green buggers with yellow bugeyes, in monk's robes with a lantern and a knife, hard as nails). Not only was there three of them, they also moved incredibly fast, advancing while the group performed its first actions. Vivi was Knifed (9999 damage), then Zidane, then Quina, Dagger of all characters was still standing after having summoned Bahamut. Strangely, the Tonberries stopped advancing and exploded. No XP/item screen afterwards, either. Strange...
