Of all the bands/artists in your cd/record collection, which one do you own the most albums by?
Bruce Springsteen. All official albums, a number of them in duplicate (vinyl and CD) plus assorted grey market releases and bootlegs, all in all about 30?

What was the last song you listened to (voluntarily)?
Last on before I shut down my computer at work was Rammstein - Ohne dich

What's on your record player right now?
My record player is in Germany. For what's on my playlist see the Playing Now bit above.

What song would you say sums you up?
I'm really not confident with those associative questions, somebody else have an idea? Besides, there wouldn't be a single song.

What's your favorite local band?
In Cambridge, Good Question, Manalishi (are they still going?), The Lonely, Jump Bump and Boogie

What was the last show you attended?
Rush in London earlier this month.

What was the greatest show you've ever been to?
Various but last year's Springsteen gig in Crystal Palace and Maceo Parker at the Corn Exchange certainly are on the top ranks. I've seen fantastic gigs by Aerosmith (twice), Guns 'n' Roses (really lucky there, with NIN being bottled as first support and Skid Row as second where Bach fell off the stage), Melissa Etheridge (twice), B.B. King (twice), Luther Allison (three times), the list goes on...

What's the shittiest band you've ever seen in concert?
The Beat Farmers were shit but great fun so they don't really count. It was a small gig at a Boat Race sized venue in Nuremberg. There were maybe 25 people there and I was the only German, the rest were American G.I.s.
I haven't been to a gig I walked out of. At festivals, probably Die Fantastischen Vier, when they started.

What band do you love musically but hate the members of?
If I like the music, I usually ignore the band. I might not see them live, though. Can't think of someone specific at the moment.

What is the most musically involved you have ever been?
DJing. I'm pretty useless with making music myself.

What show are you looking forward to?
I wanted to see Joss Stone but it was sold out so none currently.

What is your favorite band shirt?
I don't own many, to be honest.

What musician would you like to hang out with for a day?
Springsteen, definitely.

What musician would you like to hump for a day?
None, to be honest. I've never fancied a musician for their looks, only their music.

Sabbath or solo Ozzy?
I'm with Baz: Sabbath, but Sabbath with Ozzy for preference.

Commodores or solo Lionel Richie?
Commodores before they sold out.

What was the greatest decade for music?
End Sixties to Mid Seventies

How many music-related videos/dvds do you own?
Not that many, 10 in total? As opposed to 600+ CDs/albums.

What is your favorite movie soundtrack?
The Crow score, LotR:FotR,

What's the crappiest CD/record/etc you've ever bought?
Recently, Def Leppard - X. Generally, a Dolly Parton album in the mid 80s when I was into C&W a lot.

Do you prefer vinyl or CDs?
For general accessibility, storability and durability, CDs.

All totalled, how much do you spend on music in a month?
Varies, between 10 and 150 quid, so probably about 30 on average. The month before my infrarot order came through, that was 150 odd.
