Hero goodness
20 Sep 2004 11:08 pmAfter some panic as all the tickets had gone (due to the slightly awkward wording of the mail I'd assumed ticket pickup was today but I should have done it last Thursday...), we (Heidi from work,
whiskeylover and
belak_krin,
robinbloke and
the_mendicant decided to go for food instead) got in as a number of people hadn't turned up.
As I'd seen it on DVD, I knew the plot and could concentrate on the visuals and the bits I had missed first time round on a 14'' TV. The larger picture and better sound made this wonderful, beautful film even better.
The Cineworld didn't impress me much for a brand new cinema, though. Not very comfy seats (a bit too soft and if you sit too far back they tilt up) and the picture was out of focus to start with. The only advantage over the VUE is that the rows are steeper which makes it easier to look over people's heads. I want a Cinecitta now!
