A clarification for something that came up during the SLA game. When I was in my car, I started to have doubts so I looked it up when I came home.
The origin of "to s(c)hmooze" isn't technically the German "schmusen" (to smooch) but both words have the same origin from Yiddish/Hebrew and Rotwelsch words meaning "to talk", they just evolved differently. So I was only half right.
