Fun Fun Fun

The stressful week I had came to a really good end last night.
Got out of work reasonably on time, got home, had dinner, packed my overnight bag, changed and headed off to the station.
Two delays later, I finally got to my friends' place in Kings Cross a bit before 10. The plan had been to get there 45 mins earlier.
Heidi mixed some fantastic cocktails for us (I had one called Blue Wave with gin, rum, Blue Curacao, lime and pineapple juice) and then Maria and I headed off alone to FT as Heidi wasn't feeling well enough.

Got there, Maria got offered dope at the tube exit (???, weird, never happened to me). Was quite full already so we queued for the cloakroom and chatted to madwitch for ages. Chatted to angusabranson a bit when the Sisters came on and Maria dragged me onto the dancefloor ... which we didn't leave until we left at 10 to 3.
Almost all of Runnymede plus imnotagoth turned up later and much fun was had.
cryx looked even more stunning than usual as she was wearing her new Bexhair™ and everybody else looked fantastic as well.
The music was very good as well, even if Once in a Lifetime, Du hast and Dead Stars and all the rest of the standard tracks were on but there was cool stuff I didn't know as well.
As we wanted to avoid the crowds we left at about 2:45 which probably was a good thing as Hardcore Motherfucker came on which would have killed me in my state... ;o)

We managed to get the right nightbus but in the wrong direction (never trust a local ;o)) so we took a tour of late night London, delayed by an injured drunk at a stop, but got to Kings Cross eventually.
The plan of going to bed earlier failed again as we had herb tea and munchies and chatted til 5am...

Finally crawled out of bed at 12:30, had breakfast with some gorgeous home-made mango-yogurt smoothie, coffee, various breads, home made jams and marmelades courtesy of Heidi's and Maria's respective mums, strong cheese and smoked wild boar ham. Chatted mainly about music and families.
Headed off rather late. Wanted to have a look around Camden but when I walked through KC station, the Cambridge train was at the platform and I was still feeling knackered so I went home instead.

Relaxing night tonight, early bed and being busy around the flat tomorrow.
