Got home to find a package from Germany. In it, the limited first 2CD digipack editon of Bone Peeler, signed by Rudy R. himself. Whoo!
Then the comedown: I put it in my CD drive, nothing happens. I start up CDEX, it won't even acknowledge that there is a CD. So far, I hadn't encountered a copy protection CDEX couldn't get around. Bastard.
He should take Eisbrecher or ASP as an example, who include CD-Rs in their packaging...

Good stuff, though. This is almost classic industrial. I like it already but it definitely is something you need to listen to a couple of times. Update: Which makes it less appealing... :o(
Update: It won't run under Windows 2000 but at least I managed to rip it with CDEX. No entry in the CDDB, though, so you have to enter the titles by hand.

I can't get it to work with any of my media players either :(
This is annoying given that the only time I'll have to sit and listen to it properly is here in work *argh*

What's the betting it refuses to play in the Church of Madness CD players and my old stereo upstairs too?

My proper CD player is over 10 years old and it plays it fine.

What do you think of it?

I quite like what I've heard so far. It's rather slow, so very few club play songs (though I've not finished listening to it or the second disk yet).

The March of the Dead is screaming out for another cat dance thing like Tanz mit laibach :)

I agree with the slowness comment. Overall, I'm not convinced. I liked it when I first put it on but it just doesn't change much.
I just posted to [livejournal.com profile] gothic_reviews.

Zombie Cats! ;o)

And there's this bit in In the Peace of Night that sounds like a bit from that TaTu song...
