A pleasant evening

karohemdAfter sleeping very long and not getting much done, I picked up ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dreamingchristi and took the train down to London. They've changed the times on weekends, it's :01 and :3something now. And they are slower, too.
Finding the Cittie of York wasn't much of a problem and there were quite a few people already there.
puddingcat looked fantastic in a Chinese style dress and was happy about the bottle of port. :o)
Then our private front room was invaded by a bunch of Australians who gracious enough to ask. Jenny didn't mind so they set up camp at the back table. No problems with them, they even sang Happy Birthday topuddingcat and ukmonty.
Good beer, good food and good conversations were had,davywavy surfed for Jewish Porn and found it (how many pages?) which was a bit disturbing. Loads of people were there: John and Hilary (Dave's siblings), Tracey, Norm, ukporl (good to see you!), Jess, angusabranson, davedevil and Erin (an US/Canadian Cammie) and several people I didn't know and whose names I don't remember (except Eddie's).

Took the last fast(ish) train back and had another long night's sleep until about 10:45 when a bloody telemarketer called. Had I been able to, I would have throttled him but I only said "No, and you just woke me up" and slammed the phone down. Fucker. And I was dreaming something interesting, as well...
Snoozed a bit more but couldn't go back to sleep properly.
Got some things done today but still not completely satisfied. I need another weekend to fix all this. Bah.
