Wilting away...

karohemdDidn't get anything done yesterday because only the idea of moving was a bad one. Managed to do the washing up, though.
Off to Tesco in the evening - no fresh bread and no chilled juice (at least not the buy 3 for £ sort) so I had to do with some wholemeal baps and a 2l carton.

dreamingchristi's to find her pruning the growths around the house, said Happy Birthday, handed over the present and took in my supplies. Wow, there is actually a garden behind the house! Quite a change from the previous jungle ;o).
Gradually, more and more people arrived and the BBQ was started. My lamb and pork steaks were greatly received, so I'm pleased with that. I even managed to put the lamb to the spot (still pink in the middle) which I consider a major coincidence as you can't regulate the heat on a barbie.
The cider Christi had bought was absolutely gorgeous but it was too hot to drink so I abandoned the plan of crashing over and only had not quite a pint.
When it was completely dark,razornet let off the monster rocket he had brought and very sparkly and shiny it was.
Was a very pleasant party, loads of people, pleasant conversations but far too hot, even at 1:30am.
Have some salad left over (lunch today) and even more Dippadoom. I won't make that much in the future, it's simply not worth it.
