Many years ago I was playing a story-telling game, "Into The Dark Continent," and the story somehow mutated into a plot about missionaries invading Africa in a steam-powered "stealth cathedral"

This picture is quite a lot like what I imagined when we were playing.

It just put me in mind of something from a book - absolution gap I think it was called where the churches moved along a line to try and stay underneath something in the sky... Its been a while since I read it though.

That's an awesome combination of two of the mightiest things ever - churches and tanks! Yay!

Neat. Reminds me of inflatable churches, but I think I prefer the tank.

Yes Absolution Gap. Though personally my first thought was of something for the Warhammer 40K inquisition...

That would make a perfect 40K super heavy tank for the Imperium. Cool find.

I believe that is a literal version of a Crusader Tank.

That was my first thought too.

Yes! That's what the style reminded me of too!

(Although GW would sell the models for something like £40 each... <grumble> <grumble>.)

I wonder how he actually makes these. A mix of casting and carving?
