Bizarre

Yesterday, I took my glasses off, put them on the windowsill in the bathroom and washed my face.
When I put them on again, I thought there were smears on them but couldn't explain how they got there as I'd only cleaned them a few hours earlier. I polished them without result and then I realised what it was:
I have reaction lenses and they turned dark only in the places where the sunlight came through the pattern of the curtain. I obviously had to take a photo:

Two days of MEAT and other BBQ'ed foods, chats, music and generally a fun time were had, all less than 5 minutes walk from my doorstep.
raggedy_man brought out loads and loads of various meats in various marinades over the two days while I provided sausages and burgers from the Art of Meat as well as my ubiquitious marinaded pork steaks (today because they needed marinading). It was a lot of fun.
