As I was watching Fastforward at the original time I just caught up on Life (the new BBC wildlife programme narrated by Uncle David). Awesome pictures and some new information as well. The macro sequences of the venus flytraps were beautiful, the fight of the chinstraps against the ice and the leopard seal moving, things like the tree frogs and the tool using capucin monkeys astounding etc.

Also, it's something special when they show as remote places as Deception Island in Antarctica and I can say, yup, been there, seen Chinstrap Penguins from 5m away. I also saw Leopard and Crabeater Seals (the one in the icon is a Weddell Seal) but no Orcas (there actually were some which showed up in the 10 minutes I was under deck once, I'm still kicking myself).

Anyone have a cold storage unit big enough for 5 articulated lorry loads?

was a lot of fun. Watch it. (if you like gory romzomcoms, that is) Also, it has Bill Murray in his best role in years (probably since Lost in Translation).
*still grinning*

Oh, and The Men Who Stare At Goats looks like a really good comedy (but with less violence and without zombies), too.

Next week: The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. Hope they'll show it on one of the big screens.
