Yesterday I managed to get to Dragonmeet just after 2, walked briefly around the traders' hall for a bit, said Hi to the usual (and far too numerous to mention) suspects. Unfortunately and expectedly, most games were already full but I found s GURPS Mysteries/Space game that sounded interesting and turned out to be a Murder on the Orient Express type mystery, complete with twisting plots and dodgy NPCs. It was just three players (Sheila, a guy I didn't know and me). We finished just in time for the auction to start which was good fun as usual, especially the antics of James Wallis and John Wick. This time I only spent 75 quid (on a single item) as there wasn't much else I fancied.
A bit sad that I didn't get to attend the seminar with Robin D Laws and Ken Hite but I didn't want to interrupt the game I was in.
Sorry, no photos this year as I was rushed off my feet and didn't have the time to prepare my camera (completely forgot to charge batteries).
