Not a happy bunny today. It's still OKish but I've been crawling around today not doing a lot except sleep, dose, drink, eat very little and watch two DVDs:

Dragonlance - Dragons of Autumn Twilight
I've been dreading this but it was a complete disaster, just rather ill conceived. The 2D animation is very simplistic (think cheap late 70s/early 80s TV cartoons) which gives the whole thing a kids' TV feel but the 3D elements (dragons, Drakonians and other creatures) are really rather poor and their integration into the surroundings is poorly done, too.
The main gripe I have with it that it obviously can't pack all of the book into one standard length film so many bits and scenes are missing which makes it rather confusing to watch. The acting isn't as bad as I feared, either so if it had been more coherent and longer (like a TV serial), it might actually be enjoyable. Still, I got through it but it utterfly failed to rekindle my fascination with the original book(s).

Dr Who - Destiny of the Daleks
I quite enjoyed it but I was missing a general threat to the universe or at least mankind, just a few poor innocents. Well, OK, if either the Movellans or the Daleks had gained superiority, they would have gone on to wreak havoc in the universe but that wasn't really in the foreground.
I think I prefer Tom Baker to Peter Davison. Looking forward to a few other doctors.
