[DVD] Shrek the Third

Hm, good thing I didn't go to the cinema when it was on. Technically, it was brilliant and because it's all cartoony, the not-quite-natural movements of the characters worked (unlike Beowulf) but content-wise, it was rather lame and tired, I found. Once you're used to the concept, you know what the gags are going to be like. Shame, really, and I hope they'll leave it at that.

Dragonmeet

I'm off to Dragonmeet tomorrow, the UK's best one day gaming convention.
Should be good again, lots of games on offer, probably too many. I would love to try a game of Qin, if there are any demos running, Spirit of the Century is also on my list and maybe there will be a game of HEX as Jeff Combos will be there. If not, there's always something you can pick up. Not sure if I'll join the freeformers, will depend on anything else interesting turning up.
