Saturday was a Null day as usual, recovering from the week with the only useful thing being done cooking a large pan full of frittata (mushrooms, peppers, onions, potatoes, held together by egg and cheese).
Sunday was meant to be productive but ended up feeling really grotty (no idea what caused the upset, all the ingredients had been fresh) so I didn't get anything done except two loads of laundry.

I officially suck. :o(

Had a good night's sleep and everything is back on track. When I woke up, it was rather cold so I got out of bed, turned on the heating (and there was me thinking I wouldn't need it anymore) and went back under my duvet.
I had managed to download Top Gear of the Pops last night and watched it during breakfast. Jizzy Tissue is a great name for a hip-hop act. :o)

Apparently, my monitor has been loaded onto a van so should hopefully be here before the end of the day. I cleared my desk last night before I went to bed so setting up should hopefully be quick.

Anyone in Cambridge want a 15" CRT monitor? Free to a good home.

My toy is here. Gah, I want to go home and play with it now...

Is it April already?

A minute ago, the sun was shining, now there's very wet snow coming down. I wonder when the hail gets here.

It works!
Using NVTweak to enable VMR and installing an older driver (71.89) works. DVDs and videos look just as awesome as photos. Phew.
*plays around a bit more* So that's what the textures in Tomb Raider Legend really look like. Wow. Doesn't help me out of the big puzzle room on Level 4, though...

ION, I wasted a Lovefilm slot by not realising that Disc 6 of BSG Season 2 only contained deleted scenes. Meh.

Wow...

I just love this display. Best investment ever...
The contrast, the brightness (I can read by the light of a white screen), the depth. Amazing. It'll probably be a bit slow (12ms) for hardcore gamers but my priorities lie elsewhere.
