There was a track (The Pain) on a recent Sonic Seducer cover disk which I played at my last Calling set and made me buy the album. It doesn't disappoint.

MNS describes it as "a firmly rhythmic, hard, static and cold EBM offering suffused with lush melody, clinical beats and vocodered effects" but I disagree almost completely. While it is darker, a bit harder and more distorted, it's not EBM but a lot more like classic electronica (Kraftwerk, Klangstabil, The Rorschach Garden), although not as minimal as the latter two.

The only thing that bugs me is the vocals. I can't quite put my finger on it, it might be his accent or just the delivery but they aren't quite right.

Still, a fine release that's away from the current average so give it a listen. The website has some samples.

should not look at this link and the linked comic in the post while at work but definitely in the safety of their homes.

Next week's box is supposed to contain courgettes, broccoli and a salad pack.

PS: There might or might not be a price for the person who gets it right. :o)

Remember the one with first letters and numbers?
There's a new one.
ETA: Got them all now (thanks to [livejournal.com profile] dougs and [livejournal.com profile] djonma for the hints).

I had this huge bag of lettuce so I thought I do something with it.

Some purple leaf lettuce, cherry tomatoes, chopped buffalo mozzarella and onion rings, dressed in olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
It was not only gorgeous but also provided three colours: green, purple and red. Today I definitely had the full lot of the 5 a day recommendation (a banana, an apple and carrots as snacks throughout the day, the leftovers from last night for lunch).

I have the same amount left so that will accompany dinner tomorrow and lunch on Sunday or something.
