Short update

Worked, had nice dinner at Bangkok City, a drink at the rather expensive and trendy Slug&Lettuce and then decided to go to The Calling after all, despite my un-goth clothes.
It's strange, I first went because of the music and it's now turning into more of a social thing, as I know a lot more people there. This is a good thing, though. The music was again far too trad for my taste, it's about time my set on the 28th comes along so I can subject the camgoths to some BLEEP! and other continental goodness. That is, if the decks let me, they played up really badly this evening. Let's hope they'll get it fixed by then, I have a few things on official CD-Rs I'd like to play...

[Music] What is Emo?

When puddingcat asked on Saturday, all davywavy and I could come up with was "The music raggedhalo listens to". While true, this obviously doesn't describe what kind of music it actually is.

I'd say, a variety of bouncy, punk-related guitar music.

Calling Reading (goths)

I'm the guest DJ at Church of Madness next Wednesday (8th) playing my usual mix of typical German goth fare (Neofolk, Dark Ambient, Medieval, Goth/Industrial Metal, Industrial, Electro).

I should be in town from about 4pm so if anyone would like to meet up, give me a shout.
