Cambridge's Wildest Police Chases
25 Jul 2004 01:39 amWell, not quite but I just witnessed one.
Coming back from
robinbloke's I was driving down Arbury Road and on top of the road, between the kebab van and the zebra crossing, a car overtook me at high speed, and a police car with flashing lights behind. They turned into the first road on the left and were gone. Good thing there was enough space and I wasn't in the way...
Rest of the day was OK. First I didn't get out of bed before 12 and then I was too tired too do anything constructive except cooking a wonderful asian/mediterranean vegetable dinner with wild rice. Started preparing a bit late so missed most of the first disc of Invader Zim when I got to Robin's.
andrewdavies was sleeping on the floor but denied it later. ;o) I need to borrow that DVD at one point...
Randomly, it was
jasonooc's birthday as well, so he had the next choice of film and we watched Zoolander. I'd seen it before and it's still good. The classic Airplane was next.
