This card isn't supported by the manufacturer anymore and won't run under Windows 2000 or XP. It ran fine under Win98, though.
You should be able to connect any camcorder/VCR with an analog output (Video/SVideo).

As I have a DV camcorder and pretty much everyone has a DVD player or PC that can read VCDs, I'm going to move to a Firewire card, use AVID FREE DV for editing and output the result to VCD. Eventually, I'm going to buy a DVD burner as those are getting really cheap now and I'll need to be able to archive large files, anyway.

I still have some tidying to do but I don't need to be at the station before 5:25 or so.

I'm pretty much packed (some spare clothes and RPG equipment, mostly).

I won't be able to check email/LJ over the weekend and at home only once a day in the evening as I can't block the phone line and will connect using a pay as you go service.

I'll be back in Cambridge on Saturday the 20th, hopefully in time for the Vamp game and I'll see some of you at Synthetic Culture on the 16th.

The new Rammstein single (Mein Teil, again a very ambiguous title) was supposed to come out this weekend in Germany but it's been pushed off til the end of July due to problems with the record company. And again, bah.

Argh!

Chuck Berry is at the Corn Exchange tonight, this most likely means another tour truck in front of the Kambar, blocking it.

However, as it's a sold out gig, the Pimp Ninjas might be able to draw some punters.
